How long does a switchboard upgrade take?
Most residential switchboard upgrades take 4–6 hours. Power will be off while we swap over the board — usually no more than 2–3 hours. We plan the job to minimise disruption.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade to get solar?
Often, yes. Solar installers require adequate space in your switchboard for the solar isolation switch and inverter circuit breaker. Ceramic fuse boards cannot be used and must be replaced before solar can be connected.
How much does a switchboard upgrade cost?

Can you upgrade my switchboard and install an EV charger on the same day?
