What size split system do I need?
As a rough guide: bedrooms under 20m² → 2.5kW, living rooms 20–40m² → 3.5–5kW, large open areas 40–60m² → 6–8kW. We'll recommend the right size for your specific room when you get a quote.
Do I need a new circuit for a split system?
Yes — a dedicated 20A circuit is required for a split system. This protects your home's wiring and is a requirement of most manufacturers' warranties. It's included in our installation price.
Which brand should I choose?
Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric are the most reliable long-term and have good local service networks. LG and Samsung offer great value at a lower price point. We stock all brands and are happy to make a recommendation based on your budget.
Can you install in a two-storey home?
Yes. We handle all types of properties including two-storey homes and units. We'll assess the best routing for the refrigerant pipe and cabling during the quote.
